• We, at Ishta Ventures, are set out to create a community of 100 small businesses that co-exist together, spreading happiness and prosperity, the Ishta way. We believe that an entity should be strong in its core capability and 80 % of its people, infrastructure and funds should be aligned to its core purpose of survival. The non-core activities required to support this business can be rendered from an entity within the group which is again designed in the same way, thereby creating an inter-dependable self-sustaining business community.
  • Every business that is created in the Ishta community is headed by an individual (called as 49er) who will be owning 49% of the business entity created. Ishta Ventures will hold 51%. The 49er will hold the operational management of the entity, while Ishta Ventures offers governance and business management, which will ensure complete focus on the core strength, thereby creating long-term sustainability for the business entity created. We refer to this as Ishta Ventures Business Model(IVBM).
  • We model the entity to become a leanly managed INR 1 Crore turnover company. The size of the business unit is limited to INR 1 Crore to attribute to the lean manageability and flexibility to change as per market dynamics. For a mature INR 1 Crore Company, we adopt a scale-out business approach and not a scale-up approach.
  • We, at Ishta, defy the common belief in the business world that an entity will fall if it does not grow in size. Our INR 1 Crore turnover community enterprise is all set to break that myth. We believe that our Ishta entities are small and can scale-out without affecting the core values of the business. We, at Ishta are set to prove that a recession-proof entity can be created.
  • We, at Ishta Ventures, see small businesses as a unique balanced combination of People, Infrastructure and Funds(PIF).We nurture new businesses by helping them survive the early stages of development by structured incubation of their PIF.
  • We help small businesses manage their entities by implementing tailor-made business core management systems in line with their business DNA.
  • SMEs can be made more efficient by improving their business processes and organization structure. We refine existing business processes for various departments – by defining and structuring processes for People, Infrastructure and Funds (PIF model). Further, we provide strategic recommendations & analysis for expansions and strategic acquisitions.
